Things to see and do in Morbihan

Kergario gites are located within 40 mins drive of the spectacular L’Amor Plage. Even closer is the 7.5 mile long Lac de Guerledan for swimming, boating and dining at its many fabulous lakeside restaurants.

About the same distance is Lorient with its exclusive clothes shops and world class marina.

Slightly closer is  stunning Pontivy an historic market town where the Nantes Brest canal meets the river Blavet providing various activities and scenic highlights.  The owners Alan and Kate know the local markets and flea-markets well, and keep visitors informed of brocantes and other local events.

Just 6 minutes away from Kergario is Guemene sur Scoff, where visitors can find a supermarket which features a fresh fish counter.   Guemene sur Scoff is a pretty little village which has been awarded ‘A small city of character’ ; here you can  also find restaurants, bars and if needed a doctor and a dentist.

For your morning baguette take a brisk 5 min cross country walk to the village of Lignol where you will also find two restaurants, a bar and a picturesque fishing lake with two afternoons a week of special activities for the children.
